It is nineteen years since I began the study of Christian Science

It is nineteen years since I began the study of Christian Science. While there are yet many faults to overcome, there is nothing on earth I would take in exchange for my understanding of God and of man's relationship to Him. My only desire is to be a Christian Scientist in deed and in truth.

From childhood I was considered delicate. I lived in constant fear of all kinds of disease, and was always conjuring up evil forebodings. I was subject to severe bilious attacks, but through the study of Christian Science and the loving help of a practitioner I am now entirely free.
