I consider it a duty to express my gratitude openly in the hope of helping others as I myself have been helped.

It is almost six years since Christian Science was brought into my life. I was suffering from a stomach trouble and could eat only toasted bread. This illness seemed to give me a dark outlook, and it was especially for this reason I was searching everywhere for a remedy. At the time when the physician, despairing of my case, decided to make injections into the blood, I heard Christian Science spoken of. During the first conversation I had with a Christian Science friend I received such an impression that I spent the whole night thinking. Next day I found I was healed, and very joyfully I thought only of thoroughly studying such powerful teachings.

This occurred more than five years ago. Since then I have eaten anything set before me, rarely experiencing slight illnesses, which have disappeared completely with a practitioner's help. More recently, having had some difficulties and believing that I was no longer young, I had help from a practitioner and in a short time was better. To-day I am happy, well, and full of gratitude for the thought that I am stronger and better than formerly.
