Lecturer: Judge Frederick C. Hill; introduced by James H. Pettapiece, who said:—

The command of Jesus to his disciples, to be found in the ninth chapter of Luke and the second verse, "And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick," is as imperative to-day as it was nineteen hundred years ago. That Christian Scientists are trying to obey this command of our Saviour may be seen in the many healings of disease and the many intelligent people who depend upon it in times of sickness or trouble.
