From the day I became acquainted with Christian Science I have known and understood that God always gives us power to conquer every discord, whether physical or mental. Knowing the great truth of Being and believing in it, I have been able to conquer every adverse circumstance whenever it presented itself to me.

Recently when attacked by sickness I had to call a practitioner. Lovingly and faithfully she helped me during several painful and grievous days. Thanks to her help the discomfort ceased, fear was overcome, and soon I felt free,—healed,—having had for medicine only the truth of man's perfection.

My gratitude rises to God, who has awakened me to know Him by placing Christian Science on my pathway. I admire and revere Mrs. Eddy, whose thought was sufficiently exalted—free enough from materiality—to understand and establish in our age, in their spiritual and metaphysical meaning, the healings as well as the teachings of the Master, Christ Jesus.
