Our Prayer

TEACH us to pray the Master's way—
Thou who art Life and Love alway.
Help us to heal as he did heal—
To work, to give, to bless; to feel
Our hearts to all with love o'erflow;
One perfect Principle to know;
And claim, through Thee, th' renascent power
To bless mankind—the healing dower.

Help us to see God's image fair
In God's own man; with Christ an heir,
What can he lack of grace divine
Thy will to do, and only Thine?
Teach us to pray the Master's way—
Help us to say, like him, alway:
Of mine own self can I do naught—
Lo! all these works my Father wrought!

While echoes of that chant sublime
Come rolling o'er the hills of time,
In selfless gratitude all raise
Their heartfelt hymns of joyous praise.
