It is with a deep sense of gratitude for Christian Science and its available and effective help in time of need, that I wish to give the following testimony of instantaneous help experienced during some recent dental work. The task of the dentist consisted in refilling a tooth, and he repeatedly remarked how deep down and close to the nerve he had to work. This constant reminder seemed to produce a growing sense of fear, but by persistently declaring for God's allness and that divine Love is the only presence and power, I was enabled to banish all dread from my thought, and therefore its painful effects. Observing the absence of all discomfort, the dentist was much surprised and began asking if I did not feel the effects of his work, finally saying, "You must be immune to suffering," little knowing how much more powerful the application of Truth is than the so-called laws of mortal mind which govern matter. Passing through this experience without pain or bad after effects was but another reminder to me of all the good that is coming into my life through the study and application of Christian Science, and made me especially grateful for class instruction, which is enabling me more effectively to do my own work in applying spiritual understanding in my daily experience.

I am most grateful for the privilege of working in the Christian Science Sunday School, and for the help, when it has been needed, of faithful practitioners who represent that army of workers who are devoting their time and service in turning the thoughts of mankind to God through Christ Jesus, the Way-shower. I am profoundly thankful to God for the spiritual understanding unfolded to our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, which enabled her to give to the world that wonderful textbook of divine metaphysics, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures."—(Miss) Edith E.
