I came into Christian Science over fifteen years ago. Man's extremity was God's opportunity at that time, for Christian Science found me a stranger in a strange land, without home, and with very little means. As I had been a semi-invalid for about eight years, I decided to try Christian Science as a last resort. It is needless to say that I found the "pearl of great price;" for I was healed of many things, of insomnia, nervous prostration, and other discords too numerous to mention. I was able to obtain a good position, and have since been absent from my duties but one week on account of sickness.

The Bible and our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, have been my daily companions. My needs are always met, and I am gaining a little more understanding each day of how to love my fellow-man, and to forgive. I am indeed grateful to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, and for the peace which Christian Science has brought into my life.
