In an article of recent date Christian Science is mentioned in connection with "psychology," "psycho-pollyanalogy," and some other ologies in a manner that might mislead the average reader, unacquainted with the teachings of Mrs. Eddy, to classify Christian Science as "a kind of epidemic of near psychology," described in the article complained of. Such a conclusion would be altogether erroneous, as the following statement from "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy will prove (p. 482): "Christian Science is the law of Truth, which heals the sick on the basis of the one Mind or God. It can heal in no other way, since the human, mortal mind so-called is not a healer, but causes the belief in disease."
