I wish to express my deep gratitude for a wonderful healing I experienced in the summer of 1920. Living on a fruit farm, we were naturally very busy during the summer. Owing to this fact I gave little attention to my physical condition, scarcely realizing that I had often experienced a sense of unusual weariness, and had little desire for food. Suddenly there appeared what seemed to be a very serious condition, accompanied by a great sense of pain. After about three days a practitioner was called. Within two weeks a fibroid tumor came away. Although I was unable to sleep for a week before this occurred, my thought was perfectly clear the greater part of the time, proving to me that there is indeed but one Mind. That God is my strength was proved repeatedly; and all through the long hours of the night I kept repeating parts of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, knowing that God's grace is sufficient for us. Never for one moment did I doubt that God would bring me through this severe trial, and that He would preserve my life. With Paul I could say, "I know whom I have believed." Two days after the breaking of the tumor I was able to walk with assistance, and a week later to be about the house.

I shall never cease being grateful to God for this marvelous healing; for the way opened up in Christian Science by our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy; and for the loving and untiring work of the practitioner.
