In "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," there is a chapter, Christian Science versus Spiritualism; and in that chapter (p. 71) Mrs. Eddy says, "When the Science of Mind is understood, spiritualism will be found mainly erroneous, having no scientific basis nor origin, no proof nor power outside of human testimony." Again, she says in the same book and chapter (p. 80), "I entertain no doubt of the humanity and philanthropy of many Spiritualists, but I cannot coincide with their views."

Christian Science is a religion of love and compassion. It follows the teachings of Christ Jesus by healing the sick and bringing the weary and heavy-laden under the subjection of divine intelligence.
