Newcastle Evening Chronicle

There is nothing in common between suggestion and Christian Science. The latter acknowledges only one Mind, and its teaching conforms strictly to the admonition of Paul when he says, "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus." It holds also to the apostle's statement that "the carnal mind is enmity against God." Autosuggestion leads to what our Savior described as a kingdom divided against itself, which cannot stand. The truth taught by Jesus is the basis of Christian Science healing; and in proportion to the understanding and practice of this truth by his disciples, freedom from sin and disease is obtained.
