The upright and progressive merchant in disposing of his merchandise does not find it necessary to decry and discredit his fellow-merchant. This rule may well be applied by the messengers of God whose sermons outline salvation by way of the Christ. The evangelist's attack upon Christian Science can have no other effect than that expressed in the words of Scripture, "Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain." Christian Science offers a spiritual explanation of the words of Holy Writ, thereby revealing the why of things that are divine, which, when rightly understood, enables mankind to demonstrate the presence and power of God in its daily affairs here and now. This is what Christ Jesus did; and he said, "The works that I do shall he do also."
