Assurance

God is Love. Oh, firm foundation
For our faith when doubts assail!
Powerless it proves temptation:
Love, the All-power, cannot fail.

Child of God, there is no measure
To thy Father's love and care.
Be this truth thy choicest treasure,
Let it ring through every prayer.

Through the darkness and confusion
May we hear the "still small voice;"
Waken from the dream, illusion,
Know the Father, and rejoice.
