The true Christian Scientist endeavors to use his Christianity...

Marshalltown Times-Republican

The true Christian Scientist endeavors to use his Christianity in his business, as well as in domestic, social, and church life. He has learned to be a scientific Christian; that is, to use what he has learned about God in everything that he undertakes. The laws of God are always applicable. If a Christian is honoring God in all that he does, he can trust God to protect him in matters of business and in matters of health, as surely as he can trust God to heal him of sinful desires. When a man's understanding of Christianity shows him that the eternal Father is always with all His children in all ways, he no longer fears poverty and sin and disease; and in the measure that he overcomes these he finds himself happy, well, and successful in business. The Bible says of such a man, "And whatsoever he doeth shall prosper."
