Gratitude for what Christian Science has done and is...

Gratitude for what Christian Science has done and is doing for me makes me want to tell of some of my many blessings. For many years I have been studying this wonderful truth. It has met physical, mental, and financial problems. One of the most beautiful things to me is the joy that it has brought into my life. Before understanding anything of Christian Science I was called a martyr by my family, as anything which I especially wanted to do or to have I felt I must give up. This erroneous belief, however, has been entirely eliminated from my thought and I realize that there is a universal law of Love, which bestows its blessings on all alike; also that as Mrs. Eddy says on page 79 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," "Giving does not impoverish us in the service of our Maker, neither does withholding enrich us." I am truly grateful of Mrs. Eddy for giving us this truth and sincerely want my life to express more of the Christ-spirit.

(Miss) Fannie M. Kattelle, Melrose, Massachusetts.

As one who has received many blessings through the teachings of Christian Science, as discovered and taught by our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, I feel it to be my duty to express my gratitude for and to mention some of the blessings which I have received. Christian Science came to me at a time when I was in dire need. My wife had been a semi-invalid for several years, and the last physician who attended her said that she would not live more than two or three months. After the first Christian Science treatment she began to improve, and although her healing was slow it was sure, and has been permanent.
