I want to express my gratitude for Christian Science; to Jesus the Way-shower, and to our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for the vision which enabled them to lead mankind out of the deep depressions of mortal belief; also to the practitioner who gave me so much encouragement when I most needed it.

Christian Science made its gracious entry into our home a little less than four years ago, since which time I could recount endless blessings. While there have been many overcomings of discordant conditions, I am especially grateful for the wonderful spiritual uplift and sense of freedom and protection which a knowledge of man's relationship to the all-loving Father brings. To each one of us there is, perhaps, one demonstration that stands out above all others. In my own experience it was the overcoming of a claim of heart trouble. To be exact, perhaps it should be referred to as heart failure; for it came upon me suddenly when I was, as I then thought, in perfect physical condition. This overcoming was not the work of a moment, however; but for this I am very grateful, for the following months but proved to me again and again that the angels of His presence are ever with those who put their trust in Him; that, as the great Master taught, "God is not the God of the dead, but of the living;" and "If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death."—G. F. Holker, Minneapolis, Minn.
