Innumerable have been my experiences of the power of Truth over error through applying even the little understanding of the truth I have gained from the Bible through the teachings of our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." I have overcome attacks of paralysis in various forms. At one time on getting into bed during the night one of my feet was completely drawn up and helpless, so that I could not stretch it out. I was not afraid, however, but kept declaring the truth until I fell asleep. Next morning I was all right. Again through the declaration of the truth I overcame a condition that gradually spread until it affected the whole upper part of my body and I could not stoop. The night the trouble reached its height I had become actually helpless and was in great pain. Being alone in my study of Christian Science there was no one to ask for help. I read from the Bible and Science and Health for a long time and felt greatly relieved. I could not lie down; but I rested against the head of the bed till morning, when I attended to my daily tasks as usual. Within a week I was quite well.

With such experiences can anyone do less than be grateful to the dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy? Here I desire to thank the various practitioners who have helped me by letters at various times.
