In gratitude to our Father-Mother God, and to Mrs. Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, I am writing this testimony in the hope that it will help some one to seek and to find God, divine Love. Christian Science came into my life about twelve years ago. At that time I had reached, as it seemed to me, the end of all earthly hopes; and as I knew nothing of heaven, the future looked dark indeed. I did not take up the reading of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, to find health, but because I was told that through the study of this book I would learn how to love my enemies. After reading the first page in the chapter on Prayer I knew that I had found the God I had been seeking from childhood, and after reading for about two days I suddenly realized that I was healed of heart trouble, an abnormal condition of the kidneys, and stomach disorder. I knew that I could eat without distress anything that was set before me, which I had not been able to do for many years. The joy and peace that came to me at that time cannot be expressed in words. As I continued to read that wonderful book, the Bible became a new book to me, and I knew that I had started in the right direction to a correct understanding of Life and holiness.

I am still seeking to know more of God and to let the light shine so that our heavenly Father may be glorified.
