My thoughts pour forth in loving gratitude and praise to God and to our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, as I look back about fifteen years and consider the condition in which this blessed truth then found me and mine—a delicate mother with delicate children. The contrast is most beautifully striking, and it awakens us to renewed thanksgiving to our Father-Mother God for showing us the way to the healing Christ, though through sorrow and suffering the way was learned. My family was almost constantly under the doctor's care, and in addition to the family physician many times specialists were in attendance. Our Leader tells us in Science and Health (Pref., p. vii), "To those leaning on the sustaining infinite, to-day is big with blessings," and those words have in all these years been many times proven true. I feel most grateful for our Lesson-Sermons, which each week bring us a healing message, and for our Journal and Sentinel, together with our Monitor, the most wonderful daily newspaper of this age, with its glorious message of good will, clearing thought of erroneous impressions of affairs generally and overcoming the unhealthy taste for sensational and demonralizing news.

Would space permit I could fill pages telling of benefits and blessings which have come to me and mine through the application of the truth as taught us in Christian Science. Words, however, but slightly express my earnest desire and aim daily and hourly so to live that my life may be a light and beacon to struggling humanity.
