When one has such a burden of gratitude as I have, it...

When one has such a burden of gratitude as I have, it is hard to know how to begin or where to end in expressing the thanksgiving one owes to God. Twenty-four years ago I was healed by Christian Science almost instantaneously of a so-called fibroid growth, bowel trouble of twenty-six years' standing, and one other serious ailment. Since that time I have never turned to material remedies for the slightest help, and have always felt and expressed grateful thanks to God; but I did not leave the church of which I had been a member many years, for I felt that I could work in Christian Science without a change of church relations. Two years ago, however, an ailment asserted itself most alarmingly and persistently, and I was convinced that the time had come to take my stand publicly on the side of Christian Science. Since so doing I have made much progress in spiritual understanding. I am now completely healed, though it required more than a year's faithful work by practitioners to set me free. Every hour is one of glad thanksgiving to God for the loving work of His faithful follower, Mrs. Eddy, and I can truly say, "My cup runneth over."
