Under "Topics of Today" reference is made to Christian Science, classifying it with hypnotism, telepathy, psychotherapy, and the like. Will you kindly allow me to point out that Christian Science has nothing in common with these. The remark, however, which concludes the quotation given, that Christian Science recognizes "the importance of things that are not material," is perfectly true, because Christian Science, first and last, deals with God and with His spiritual creation. Christian Science is showing to an ever increasing number of people, to whom it has given a faith based not on blind credulity but on spiritual understanding, that spiritual law is as operative and as powerful today as it was when Jesus the Christ demonstrated it nineteen centuries ago.

No better definition of Christian Science can be found than that of Mrs. Eddy on page 1 of "Rudimental Divine Science": "The law of God, the law of good, interpreting and demonstrating the divine Principle and rule of universal harmony."
