It is with the deepest sense of gratitude that I give my testimony of what Christian Science has done for me. Ten years ago I was in very poor health, owing to what was diagnosed by a prominent physician as an abnormal growth. He insisted that an immediate operation was necessary, but I would not consent to have it performed. I was a constant sufferer, hardly able to attend to my household duties, and could not walk a block without great pain, when some years later I was persuaded to take up the study of Christian Science. My healing was slow, but with it came a better understanding of divine Principle as revealed to us in Christian Science. I am indeed thankful to say that I am perfectly well in every respect, finding my every-day duties a pleasure.

We have had many other wonderful experiences of healing in our family. A throat affection was overcome in twenty-four hours. One day at noon I injured my ankle, and by evening could not bear my weight on the foot, which was badly swollen and discolored. I asked a Christian Science practitioner for treatment, and the next morning I put my shoe on with no inconvenience whatever. For all the benefits received we are indeed grateful.
