With a heart full of gratitude to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, I wish to tell of some of the many blessings which have come to me began to study Christian Science. For over two years I suffered from stomach trouble, which at times was so severe as to render me semiconscious. Rheumatism had been a source of suffering from early childhood, and I was confined to a hospital for three months with one attack. Then there were times when I had such hazy vision that everything appeared dark to me. In addition to all this, business conditions were such that I thought God had forsaken me.

One day I spoke to an entire stranger about my troubles and was advised to try Christian Science. Being a Jew, I thought at first that as this teaching is based on the words and works of Jesus, it would not be in agreement with my religion; but I have found out since that Jesus by his love was the fulfilling of the law of Moses and the prophets, for he said, "Think not that I am come to destroy, but to fulfil." Through the understanding of God which I have gained in Christian Science, I have been perfectly healed.

I have now learned what Paul meant when he said, "Love is the fulfilling of the law." Words seem inadequate to express my gratitude for the spiritual enlightenment of the Scriptures as interpreted in Christian Science.
