With deep thankfulness to God and gratitude to our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy, I testify herewith to the many blessings which have come to our family through the power of Truth. When the doctors said they could do nothing for our little girl but operate for catarrh of the head and nose, I asked a Christian Science practitioner to treat her, and as a result of absent treatment, in a very short time we could notice a great change. Her breath became as sweet as a babe's and she no longer breathed through her mouth. The healing was surely perfect without the aid of a knife, and for this I was thankful.

My son also, aged eleven, had a wonderful healing. He had been complaining of a tooth hurting him, and he came home one morning from school with quite a lump on his neck. Next day I took him to the dentist who looked at the swelling and said he did not think it was caused by the tooth. He called in a physician from the next room who said that it was not caused by the boy's tooth at all and we had better have it lanced right away or it might cause him serious trouble. Instead of having it lanced, however, I telephoned for a practitioner to give the boy absent treatment, and inside of two weeks the swelling had gone down. I at once sent him back to have the tooth filled. The dentist looked at him and felt all around on his neck and finally called in the doctor again. They both seemed dumfounded that the swelling had disappeared so quickly without lancing. I am indeed thankful we have found the right way at last to put our trust in God at all times.
