I heard of Christian Science when it was first introduced in England many years ago. I was then suffering from acute rheumatism in my arm, and although not actually laid up with it, I was never free from pain. I had been to many doctors, and they sent me abroad to take waters and baths, but the pain continued. Then a friend lent me a copy of Science and Health, and I read it with great interest and was quickly healed. There has been no return of the trouble during all this time. I have also had countless other blessings and have been greatly helped through many dark days. I am deeply grateful for all that Christian Science has done for me, and can never half express my gratitude to Mrs. Eddy for showing the way, through this teaching, out of trouble and into a new and happy life.
