With a heart filled with gratitude I wish to acknowledge the many blessings I have received through Christian Science. In the Christian Science text-book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," our beloved Leader writes (p. 120), "Science reverses the false testimony of the physical senses, and by this reversal mortals arrive at the fundamental facts of being." About eight years ago all the hair fell out from my right eyebrow. I consulted the most eminent physicians but received no help, as the skin had become shiny. As a last resort I accepted Christian Science treatment, and through the loving, patient help of a practitioner I was completely healed. I have also been healed of severe throat affection and coughs.

I am thankful to God for His goodness and for this truth which I have found in the study of the Bible as explained in Science and Health; also for our periodicals, those silent messengers of Truth, which have helped me wonderfully on my journey from sense to Soul. I am particularly grateful for the unfolding of Truth which has made it possible for me to become an active member of the Christian Science church and a teacher in its Sunday school.
