It is with the deepest love and thankfulness to God, and with gratitude to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, that I give this testimony. I came to Christian Science for physical healing alone. I was then quite satisfied with my religion, having been brought up in the Jewish faith. After being so greatly benefited through Christian Science, however, I was eager to investigate it, and when I came into the possession of a clear understanding of the truth of its teachings, I was indeed happy to accept it as my religion.

It was through a friend's healing of asthma that my interest was first awakened. I was in great physical bondage at that time, being a constant sufferer from the same ailment in a most aggravated form. I had tried many physicians, also change of climate, but I received no lasting benefit. After a few moments' conversation with this friend, I decided to have Christian Science treatment. My complete healing did not come immediately, nor for weeks or months,—indeed, it covered a number of years; but during all this time I was being benefited mentally, morally, and physically. Today I can honestly say that I am entirely healed of asthma. During the time of my healing, several of my family caught glimpses of the light, and they too are receiving daily blessings. My husband and I are especially grateful for an understanding of this Christ-teaching, which shows us how to care for our little son. Truth has always met our daily need.

Christian Science has taught me that there is but one creation, and one God, the Father of all. I feel sure that if the Jewish people could gain the true concept of the Christ as understood and demonstrated in Christian Science, they too would welcome this higher meaning of the prophet's declaration, "Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord."
