It is with a deep sense of gratitude that I send this testimony to the healing power of Christian Science. For three years I suffered from an internal growth, which, although not large, was the cause of much discomfort and a persistent hemorrhage. Knowing the truth of Christian Science, I tried to overcome this difficulty myself by the study of the LessonSermons and the reading of Christian Science literature; but the condition was too real to me, so some months ago I asked for help. During all this time I had told no one, except the practitioner, of my condition, as I thought it would be much easier to meet if my family did not know of it.

After having treatment for a while I was greatly relieved of my fear, and after about a month I seemed so much better that I told my practitioner that I thought I could get along alone; but a great mental strain came upon me soon afterward, and I had to call for help again. The practitioner worked for me about two months, when one day the growth came away. I realized such a sense of freedom, not only from the bodily discomfort and pain but from fear, and such an understanding of God's allness and power, that my heart was filled with thankfulness to God, who has given us this newold truth through our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
