It is with a heart filled with love and gratitude for the many blessings I have received through Christian Science that I offer this testimony of the healing of my little son, when about ten months old, of an acute attack of bowel trouble. He was almost in convulsions before I knew anything about it. I tried to realize the truth for him, but seeing the dreadful suffering of the child, and the fears of those around who knew nothing of Christian Science, my efforts seemed unavailing, and after several hours I decided to call for help. I went to the telephone and called up a Christian Science practitioner two hundred miles away and asked for help. The result was almost immediate. I soon noticed that the baby was becoming quieter, and in a few minutes he was fast asleep. He slept several hours, and upon awaking was perfectly well. This is only one of the many instances in which we have received help through Christian Science. I am daily striving to do as our Leader tells us,—"Rise in the strength of Spirit to resist all that is unlike good" (Science and Health, p. 393).
