Some five years ago, while bowling with a medical friend,...

Some five years ago, while bowling with a medical friend, I slipped and fell, striking the floor in such a way that my weight was entirely borne on my right hand and wrist. The wrist was strained, and we both went over immediately to the doctor's office, where the X-ray was used and the wrist examined very carefully. My friend told me it was one of the worst injuries of the kind with which he had ever come in contact. He bandaged up the wrist and otherwise treated it, saying it would probably be two weeks at least before it would be entirely healed.

That evening I had occasion to be at the home of a Christian Scientist, who, on seeing my wrist in splints and bandaged, inquired regarding the trouble. She undertook to give me treatment, and the following day I took off the splints and bandages, the pain having left me the evening previous, and by the following day the wrist was apparently as good as ever. I was greatly surprised to get relief from the pain, and to be cured so quickly and thoroughly, especially in view of the physician's statement that it would be at least two weeks before a cure would be effected by his methods.—L. O. R. Clark, Chicago, III.

It is with a heart full of love and praise for our dear heavenly Father, and of gratitude to our Leader, Mrs. Eddys, who so patiently pointed the way to Truth, that I write my testimony of a remarkable healing which was done in our family. Christian Science teaches us how to find shelter in time of storm. We have the sweet peace of knowing that the sun is shining just the same, although for the time being clouds may hide it from our sight. So it is with Truth, which is always doing its perfect work.
