THANKSGIVING

TODAY I lift my heart in praise,
A song of thanks to Thee I raise,
For blessings that have crowned the year,
For vict'ry over many a fear.

While climbing up the mountain-side
I know beside me is my guide;
His arms around me—can I fail?
No, one with God must e'er prevail.

So on this glad Thanksgiving day
In all hearts may Christ's love hold sway,
And may this anthem never cease:
"Good will to men, and on earth—Peace."
