It is indeed with a thankful heart to God for Christian Science, that I write these few lines. In the fall of 1909 my little boy stepped on a nail which penetrated his shoe and went into his foot, making a very ugly wound. The first thing we did was to call in a doctor. After the wound had been washed out it seemed to heal nicely, until about two weeks after, when his foot began to swell and he suffered intensely. After having the physician attend him for two weeks, with no relief, I decided that it was time to make a change, and as two years before this I had been healed in Christian Science of stomach trouble, of years' standing, I called a practitioner to come and see him. She did so, and after two or three treatments the pain was all gone. This was on Thursday, and on the following Monday he went to school and soon was as well as ever.

I feel that if it had not been for Christian Science my boy would in all probability have been a cripple, as the injured limb was much smaller than the other one when he got so that he could use it. I am very thankful to God for Christian Science and for what it has done for us.
