It is with a heart full of gratitude that I write this testimony to tell what Christian Science has done for me and mine. I was healed of a weakness from which I had suffered for years, and three physicians had told me that nothing but an operation would do me any good; but, thanks be to God, I am a well woman now, and have been for six years.

I wish also to tell of the healing in two treatments of an attack of jaundice for my little son eight years old. This disease was quite prevalent in the school the child was attending, and a number of his schoolmates were out of school with it. He awakened one morning quite sick, and I telephoned to a Christian Science practitioner. The next day he was much better, and with one more treatment he was healed. Our little daughter was healed of a serious fever last summer in one treatment. She had been quite sick for several days, and I tried to realize the power of Truth to the best of my understanding; but she did not seem to gain much, so in the morning she asked me to telephone to the practitioner. I did so, and in few minutes she fell into a refreshing sleep, which lasted for about an hour, when she awakened and said she was hungry. I gave her something to eat, and then she wanted to be dressed; and that was the last of the sickness.

I also wish to tell of the healing of our son, more recently. He was in Idaho, a distance of fifty miles from home, engaged in hauling grain to the depot. The wagon was heavily loaded, and in going down hill the forward sacks on which he was sitting slid off, and he was thrown under the horses, one foot catching in the harness. He was dragged for some distance, but finally his foot became free, though the heavily loaded wagon passed over one hip and foot. His father and brother, who were both close by, ran to his aid, and they got him into a buggy and started to town. On the way he asked his father to telephone to me and have me telephone to Salt Lake to a Christian Scientist, a practitioner. This was done, and he was benefited right away. He was brought home that evening, and had very little pain; but I telephoned again to the practitioner, and he then went to bed and slept like a baby all night. This happened on Tuesday, and on the following Saturday he walked a distance of four blocks (our blocks are long ones) and back, without any crutches, and improved right along. This we consider a marvelous healing, for the wagon was loaded with two tons weight of wheat.
