After having had medical treatment for about two years, and being given up by doctors and friends, my husband tried Christian Science as a last resort, and was healed. To encourage those whose healing seems slow, I will say it was about three months before he went to his regular work again, but he has grown stronger ever since. Our oldest child was subject to very severe attacks of croup, but after having help for one attack, my husband and I, with our slight understanding of Science, could help her ourselves. Previous to that time she would have the attacks every night for three weeks, although under a doctor's care. Our children have had no other help but Christian Science in over four years, and they are healthy.

We thank Mrs. Eddy for a clearer understanding of a loving God than was possible in the old way.
