I have no words to express my appreciation of Christian Science

I have no words to express my appreciation of Christian Science. I seemed to be a weakling from infancy, but I am now capable of doing almost any kind of work. One of my greatest fears was of attacks of fever. Whatever illness I had seemed to beset me in its severest form. I never had a treatment for overcoming these fevers, from which I had suffered all my life, but by working along the lines pointed out in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, and overcoming my own fears and those of my family, I have mastered this trouble, and for five or six years have been entirely free of even a headache. I can endure the hottest sunshine with uncovered head, where once unconsciousness would come on in a few minutes if I was exposed to the sun's rays.

Only by trying always to be obedient to Truth, so far as I have an understanding of this Science, can I show my gratefulness for this wonderful light that has been shown us by our beloved Leader. I have been able to overcome many of the lesser ills of the flesh through a knowledge of this truth, but to me the most satisfactory thought is that each individual can work out his own problem, and by persistent effort advance to a higher realization of this great truth, proving for himself every step of his growth.
