As the statements of Christian teaching are understood, it will be acknowledged by the honest and earnest follower of Christ that the theology and philosophy of Christian Science is as perfect in its simplicity as the Science of Christianity is exact and invariable in its Principle and rules.

Christian Science invites the sincere investigation of every seeker after Truth, and the more such an one studies the Bible in the light of its spiritual interpretation in Christian Science, the more profound becomes his reverence for God and all the good that is unfolded in His creation. Perhaps the suggestion is not unwarranted that before criticizing a religion like Christian Science it is well that every one should not only study exhaustively its theology and philosophy, but should do as Christ Jesus taught by example and precept: "Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils;" as well as "preach the gospel." If he does this, he will find that Christian Science is performing these practical works which the Master enjoined in the true spirit of Christianity, regardless of the different human theories that are advanced in explanation thereof.
