A TIMELY TRIBUTE

[The sentiment of the following letter will be of interest to so many Christian Scientists that we gladly give it prominence.—Editor.]

New York, N. Y., Dec. 24, 1907.

My Dear Mrs. Eddy:—Your published letter to Mr. McLellan foretells a most fitting gift to a waiting, weary world, and poor humanity. It is a splendid illustration of your expressed idea that Christmas should be observed "in benevolence, charity ... good will toward men." Again the world is indebted to you for far-seeing wisdom.

May I hope that the privilege of giving toward this institution will be allowed to all your followers.

Yours reverently and obediently,

Wentworth Byron Winslow.
