Living the Truth

The spiritual interpretation of the Lord's Prayer as found in Science and Health gives one a desire so to live Christian Science that others will be attracted to it for its practical value.

The love which leads us to love all, whether friends or enemies, which teaches us to see the faults of others in the true light, which yearns to help and bless others, will attract them and cause them to see the possibility, the beauty and blessing of doing unto others as they would be done by. In that way God's kingdom does come to us on earth and the famished affections are fed, even as Jesus fed the multitude, and the supply is more than enough.

The path of duty, though often the path of sacrifice, is always the path of strength and honor. Genuinely noble life and service, disclose, in the end, their true worth, and the unselfish leader is at last approved by his fellows and blessed by God for the sacrifice.
