The Lectures

A large audience of thoughtful people gathered at the Empire last evening [April 29] to hear Judge Septimus J. Hanna lecture on Christian Science. He was introduced by Mr. George M. Janes, who in a few well-chosen words spoke of the willingness of the people to hear the truth in whatever garb it came, and to listen respectfully to any earnest speaker who proclaimed what he believed was the truth, even though he differed from their preconceived notions.—Quincy Herald.

Judge Septimus J. Hanna of Boston delivered a lecture last evening [April 30] on Christian Science to an audience that filled the lower floor of the Opera House and there were a good many people in the gallery. All seemed deeply eager to learn what they could from the Judge's talk and went home well pleased generally.—Daily Gate City.
