"Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, and will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty" (2 Corinthians, 6:17, 18). Does this mean the comparatively easy task, to an earnest seeker for Truth, of avoiding those whose views, aims, and pursuits are different from our own? Or does it signify that in our daily contact with neighbor, friend, relative, or in business relations we are so to live and show forth the "fruits of the spirit" that all will realize that we are a "separate people"? It is in seclusion that we obtain the grace and strength that will enable us to be a separate people, but it is in contact with our fellow-man that we prove we have demonstrated patience, long-suffering, meekness, gentleness, and love.

I wish to add a few words of appreciation for the help and pleasure I have had from our publications. Until within the last few months, I have lived where there were no other Christian Scientists, and the Journal and Sentinel have been my Christian Science friends. I try to appreciate the "labor of love" that has given them to me.
