Christian Science in Troy, N. Y.
Troy Observer
We have received the following, which will be found of interest to every reader of the Observer:—
At the northern limit of our city there is a modest granite chapel, over the entrance of which the name is plainly lettered "Troy's First Church of Christ, Scientist." Below this name over the door, on a gold background, is the inscription, "Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise."
On Wednesday and Sunday evenings this building is brilliant with light and color, and presents, even from the sidewalk, a most attractive picture to the passerby. Within are ferns and palms and flowers, overhead are arches of electric lights, and in the distance is a beautiful picture of the Resurrection by Trojetti.
