Can a 'miracle' really occur?

Live audio chat with Nate Frederick, C.S.

Nate begins this lively and inspiring chat by defining what a miracle really is. He says that most people would probably think of a miracle as involving divine intervention—as a Supreme Being coming down into human experience and changing it. But, he says, Christian Science gives quite a different perspective on miracles. In the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, Mary Baker Eddy defines a miracle as “that which is divinely natural, but must be learned humanly; a phenomenon of Science” (p. 591).

Nate goes on to speak about how “miracles” can pop into our experience as we learn more about the “divinely natural” Science of God, or laws of God, and how we can apply those laws and see instantaneous healing. He answers many questions from listeners about how miracles can occur, and he also shares several examples of real “miracle” experiences he’s witnessed.
