The Bible's 91st Psalm refers to abiding "under the shadow of the Almighty." It's a reassuring message in view of troubling events around the world this year and news stories looking back at the September 11th attacks. It's also a practical, healing idea. Many people have found that an abiding recognition that each of us truly does live in the all-powerful, loving presence of God can help care for every need and enable us to look forward with an assurance of good.
