Elections—beyond ads and promises - Program 043

Guests: Elizabeth Jenks, Bruce Fitzwater, Lois Carlson, Julio C. Rivas T., Beulah Roegge

Elections in the U.S. are just around the corner, and once again we hear predictions of a low voter turnout, together with why we can expect so many no-shows at the polls. Some say it's indecision about the candidates. Others, that they're turned off by the political process. There's doubt about the difference one vote can make. And some throw in the towel for ALL of these reasons. Well, before you decide what to do, or what not do, on election day, listen to the comments from our guests. They're the outgrowth of struggles with apathy and indecision. Questioning who is the best, or why one's vote matters. But most of all, the comments are the outgrowth of their prayers about doing the right thing on election day.
