Christian Science: salvation or healing?

More than once, I’ve had the question put to me in words along these lines: “So, is Christian Science a religion or is it a health-care system?” Often the questioner means, is it in the world of Christianity and religion, or is it in the world of medical science and healing? Connecting religion and healing doesn’t always make a lot of sense to people, at least in a scientific way.
