Praising God
I sigh . . .
wondering why we don’t spend more time praising God
rather than worrying,
fretting, stressing,
living the high drama of a life
round and round in circles
with limited productivity—distressed.
Is this time well spent?
Favorable results and success
come from God.
Why not praise Him now, in advance,
before we get started?
Can we stop trying to personally change things?
Can we just trust the Almighty?
And how do we do that?
With vigilance—listening, obeying,
in dedicated prayer,
stopping discussions that go round and round
with no conclusion.
Know that today, yesterday,
tomorrow,
it is now solved.
So step aside
and praise God “for his unspeakable gift.” II Corinthians 9:15.

in Christian Science.
And be one of those
“leaning on the sustaining infinite.” Mary Baker Eddy, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. vii.
And as you lean,
continue praising God.
