Healed of injuries from a fall
One day a few years ago, I slipped on our driveway in the rain and heard a cracking sound when I landed on the pavement. Even with my husband’s help, I was not able to get up without great pain. I was finally able to roll onto my side and stand. I realized that I needed to apply what I have learned in my study of Christian Science.
Before I was introduced to Christian Science, I had been in a car accident that had left me with a fear of accidents, and I realized that this fear included the belief that at the time I had been on my own, outside of God’s care. It was this belief, rather than a physical condition, that actually needed to be healed.
I knew that such a belief has no basis in reality, for God is All, and there is nothing outside of God’s completely good and harmonious kingdom. God, infinite good, does not create or cause anything that is not good or that could harm His children, such as an accident or ill health. As I became more convinced of this, my physical condition improved.
