Life
Let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
Part of the Revelator’s concluding message, this invitation is universal—issued to everyone who yearns for eternal life. The “water of life” is also referenced in 21:6 and 22:1 and in Christ Jesus’ words to a Samaritan woman (see John 4:14, Responsive Reading).
