Full recovery from hearing loss
At the end of one semester in college, the hearing in one of my ears began to be muffled. I was focused on final exams, so I initially didn’t think too much about the problem. But over the next few weeks, my hearing continued to deteriorate in both ears, until I couldn’t hear someone standing right next to me.
I was very concerned. Communicating with others was difficult, as I couldn’t understand what they were saying to me, and I suddenly felt very isolated.
I messaged a Christian Science practitioner to pray for me. Growing up attending Christian Science Sunday School taught me that healing in Christian Science comes through learning more about God. This in turn helps us to better understand our wholly spiritual nature as God’s, Spirit’s, creation. So I immediately started thinking about the faculty of hearing from a spiritual basis.
