Tooth problem reversed
Several years ago, when I went to the dentist for a regular cleaning, I was told that one of my teeth was loose because of bone deterioration and gum recession. The dentist said the tooth would have to be extracted.
Afterward, this came up every time I had my teeth cleaned, but I always declined to have the tooth pulled. I had heard and read so many testimonies about healing tooth issues through prayer that I wanted to deal with this in the way I knew best—through Christian Science.
I prayed with truths about God and man from the Bible and from the writings of Mary Baker Eddy, including the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures. “The scientific statement of being” (p. 468) was a great help in uplifting and spiritualizing my thought. It begins: “There is no life, truth, intelligence, nor substance in matter. All is infinite Mind and its infinite manifestation, for God is All-in-all.”
